Week 6

19 days until we leave for Korea.... Time has flown by, yet it seems like we have been here forever! Our branch is getting 46 new missionaries today and 35 of them are Elders... These next couple weeks are going to be insane! But all of the new missionaries are going to Seoul and Seoul South, which is so exciting!

Seoul South Elders

Our Elders are such goofballs... They had previously dropped Elder Son on his face right before I took this picture, hence his terrified look as they tried to pick him up again.

I got to meet the Korean missionaries that got in last night (perks of being an STL) and they are all so sweet. I love Korean people! They are also going to be flying out with us in three weeks, meaning they are my new best friends as I try to get as much practice as I can in Korean before I leave haha.

This past week has been another tough one, but I am loving it. Devotionals are always amazing and are always the highlight of my week. This past Sunday we had a very unique devotional... The Nashville Tribute Band came had we had a "concert fireside" for Pioneer Day. It was actually amazing! I really enjoyed all of their songs and got to sing with them in the MTC choir.

Besides devotionals the MTC choir is by far my second favorite thing here. Brother Eggett, the choir director, is absolutely fantastic and each choir practice is a mini devotional. He knows so much about the background of each song that we sing and brings the spirit so strongly.

Nothing new has happened this week, but we will be starting Skype TRCs. That just means we Skype with someone in Korea for 40 minutes to practice teaching lessons.... So wish us luck :) That's pretty much all I have for this week. Have a great week everyone!

If y'all have extra time this week check out the talk by Elder Holland entitled 'The Ministry of Angels'. Hope everyone is doing well, I love and miss you all!
