At the temple I got to see Sister Beyer and Sister Greenwood! I miss everyone from the MTC, but I love being here in Korea and meeting so many new people.

After going to the temple we had our P-day. We had planned on going to see the caves where Lord of The Rings was filmed, but ran out of time. It is a little far from our area and we had Kids English class that night. We just hung out with Sister Carnhan and Sister Lee. We went out and had lunch and smoothies before heading back to our areas. Afterwards we had to finish unpacking our apartment because of the move and had to do a bit of cleaning.

This past week was really good. We had good lessons with our investigators and we also have an investigator getting baptized on October 8th! She is the sweetest thing and has such a testimony of Heavenly Father. Her husband is a little more reluctant to be baptized because "he already received baptism" from another Christian church. Hopefully he'll come around soon. They're daughter is the cutest thing on this planet, but is a little distracting during lessons. She is still adorable though.
This past Sunday we had Stake Conference. We got to go to the new church building in Incheon and it felt just like home. It is a brand new building and is so nice! Elder Gong from the Presidency of the Seventy came and spoke after a few of the members and our mission president. It was wonderful, even though I couldn't understand half of it the spirit was definitely there.
After Stake Conference a member offered to give us a ride home and ended kidnapping us for the rest of the afternoon. They fed us lunch (meaning they gave us food until we almost died) and talked for around 1 1/2 hours. They are the oldest couple in the ward and are so cute. After about 30 minutes I gave up on trying to understand them and just enjoyed being with them.
This is a little river next to our apartment building. After getting home we went for a little walk. |
Korea is so amazing! I absolutely love it and the people here! Although it is so hard not being able to understand and talk to people I can't imagine being anywhere else right now. The Lord truly loves these people and I can't wait to see how He'll change my life through them. I hope everyone is doing well. I love and miss you all!
