Week 2

Another week down :) This past week was the new Mission President's seminar here at the MTC. Things have been a little crazy because our cafeteria and classrooms were commandeered by the mission presidents and the General Authorities. The main office building (1M) was on complete lock down for the entire week because all of the General Authorities were here training the new mission presidents. As my companion and I were walking to class we saw Quentin L. Cook just walking along with some other people. She was so excited to see a General Authority in person haha. Since all the new mission presidents were here for training I got to meet and talk with my mission president! Present Tuner is wonderful and I am looking forward to seeing him in Korea and getting to know them better. When we were talking with them you could feel the love that they had for us in the room. He got to know each of us individually and we took some pictures to send to our parents. After their training here they went straight to Korea. He will also have a blog for the mission if you ever want to check it out it is koreaseoulsouthmission.blogspot.com.

Cynthia and Sister Rindlisbacher
In other news my old roommate Cynthia came to the MTC last Wednesday. She is going to Argentina... I think. She wanted to take the picture while standing on the bench... not sure why, but I love her anyway.  It was great to see a familiar face on Sunday and I seem to run into her all the time now!

Left to right: Sister Clegg, Sister Cantenza, Sister Sannar, Sister Hullinger, Sister Beyer (in the front), Sister Hilliard, Sister Troxel, and Sister Rindlisbacher
Here is a picture of most of the sisters in my zone.  I love these girls so much! We are missing a few sisters from the other district, but they're great too.

Left to right: Sister Choi, Sister Greenwood (in the back), Sister Yang, Sister Kim, and Sister Beyer
These are a few of the Korean sisters that we have here. They leave next Monday to go back to Korea. Sister Beyer is also part of the Senior district so she will be leaving on Monday as well. She has been such a great help and is a wonderful example. I'm sad that she is leaving, but she'll be in Seoul South so I might see her out in the field.

Sister Rindlisbacher and Sister Troxel

Since the Provo temple is closed for two week we aren't able to go until it opens again :( But as a district we went and walked around the grounds and studied for a bit this morning.

I am so grateful to be on a mission right now. It is so incredibly hard, but so wonderful at the same time. I absolutely love my district and the spirit that I feel here at the MTC. I know that this gospel is true and that our Heavenly Father loves us individually. A quote that was shared this past devotional by Elder Anderson says "Faith never demands an answer to every question, but seeks strength and courage to move forward." I know that if we don't have the strength to do something we can ask Heavenly Father for strength and courage. He will lift us and carry us through anything we may face. I hope everyone is doing well. Have a wonderful week, love you all!
